Thank you for your interest in volunteering with our Rescue! Volunteering with an animal rescue organization is a gratifying experience that is difficult to match. It warms our hearts to see homeless pets become beloved members of families.

Adult Volunteers

There is much to do at PAWS4you Rescue, so bring your talents and expertise! We would love for you to be a part of our team. Our volunteer programs include:

  1. Buddy Walkers – Volunteers help provide socialization and exercise for our dogs with supervised playtime in our yards, or walks around the neighborhood.
  2. Transport Team – Volunteers help transport dogs safely to and from events and veterinary appointments.
  3. Events Team – Volunteers serve as PAWS4you Ambassadors by showcasing our dogs and our mission at various events within the community.
  4. Retreat Support – Volunteers support our staff with routine chores at our facility.

*All programs require volunteers to attend an orientation before beginning service. Orientations are held monthly via Zoom, and are usually scheduled at the beginning of each month. Once you sign up to attend our Volunteer Orientation, you will receive an email when the following month’s orientation is scheduled. The required donation of $20 covers the cost of our volunteer t-shirts.

For questions about our ADULT volunteer programs, please email us at volunteer@paws4you.org.

Youth Volunteers

Our youth volunteers are an integral part of supporting our efforts in animal rescue. Our Youth Volunteer Program is open to 14-18 year old middle and high school students.

Requirements:
To learn more about volunteer opportunities and options to obtain community service hours, you must attend a mandatory virtual volunteer orientation. All who attend the orientation will receive 2 hours of community service.

Youth Volunteer Program Orientations are scheduled monthly. If you sign up to attend, you will be invited to the orientation scheduled for the following month. You may sign up at the link below.
