How she was abandoned.

Lucy has only half of her jaw and is missing most of her teeth; she has about 3 left, and some of those will be removed during her upcoming dental visit. Our vet estimated she is about 10 years old, and she has some mammary tumors that will be removed for further evaluation.

On the bright side, Lucy is a happy-go-lucky girl. She loves people, and her favorite activity is being close to humans and just loving on them. Lucy is good with everyone, including other dogs. She hasn’t been tested with cats, but she is so calm and loving that we wouldn’t be surprised if she was ok with them, too.

Lucy is in need of a FOSTER HOME as she is too loving to spend her days in a kennel. We urgently ask everyone out there to help us find her one. Seniors belong in homes snuggling with humans. PLEASE HELP US! Let’s find a foster for Lucy, so she can wait in comfort until her forever family arrives.

UPDATE: Lucy has been adopted!
