If you are looking for different ways to donate to Paws 4 You Rescue's adoptable dogs, consider picking up items from Publix (or your local grocery store) while you shop for your own household. 

Here are some items that our rescues need on a weekly basis:
Pedigree adult dry and soft food, Milkbones, Clorox, Pine Sol, paper towels, liquid laundry detergent, cotton balls, scrub brushes and sponges, dish washing soap, tall kitchen trash bags and anti-bacterial surface cleaners.

Feel free to drop off your donations to any adult volunteer at our Petco or PetSmart weekly adoption events.  Thanks in advance!

Paws 4 You Rescue is a donor-supported pet rescue organization that exists based on the gifts and contributions from
the local community. Our funding is purely based on those of us who love dogs, know what dogs do for their owners
and have a sense of compassion for the mass numbers of animals euthanized each year in Miami-Dade County
and surrounding areas.

The money donated to Paws 4 You Rescue is used for the salvation of animals from the harsh and unforgiving
environment at Animal Services. Each dog is taken to a veterinarian for spay or neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip
implantation, worm treatment and kennel cough treatment (when applicable).  If they are in need of surgical procedures,
it is provided to them as well.

Throughout the years, the Rescue has come across many unique cases that required specialized medical treatments --
from heart surgery and broken bones to heartworm treatments and emergency procedures. Consulting specialists is
important to the Rescue because it will benefit the dog in years to come.  Medical bills and boarding are the two
top expenses Paws 4 You Rescue incurs every month.

In addition to these initial costs of rescuing, there is much money spent on boarding each animal until a forever home
is found. When the dogs exit Animal Services, they enter the Paws 4 You Rescue family -- treating them as our own -- until
they are matched with loving people who will continue the effort that we have started.
 

As you can imagine, there are many ways to donate and to HELP US SAVE A LIFE!
(Donations are tax deductible. All proceeds raised through donations go to help the animals.)


LUCKY LORENZO:  This unfortunate beagle was in a car accident and lost some feeling in his back foot. But he is young and his foster mom is very impressed on how well he is doing. Lorenzo's foot has improved a million percent and while he will never walk 'normally', he will live a long, normal life! A pet angel is a kind and caring individual who recognizes that some our rescued dogs may require special medical attention or understands that vet and boarding fees can be costly. Angels may not be able to physically assist or care for a dog but through a medical or boarding sponsorship they can enrich many dogs' lives and make a special connection to the Rescue.

Our dogs love to sleep on Kuranda Dog beds, but we don't have enough for every dog. If you would like to donate a bed at a special wholesale price for a another dog to sleep in comfort, please click on the icon below.
